Responsible for specifying, designing, installing, and maintaining automation equipment, tooling and applications as required to meet specifications Take ownership during the entire life cycle of automation projects, from concept to feasibility and from fabrication and test to production. Define, develop, and deploy automation into Flex sites. Design and engineer moderate and complex automation equipment, tooling, and applications Prepare RFQ's and solicit quotations from automation suppliers. Develop budget and schedule for projects and manage projects to stay within them. Manage automation suppliers through all phases of projects. Provide on-site support during machine build, debug and testing/qualification. Supervise installation and testing to verify requirements and specifications are met. Develop manufacturing solutions with the best combination of manual, semi-automation and/or full automation. Implement cost effective automation solution. Support new product development automation needs, facilitate assembly processes through the implementation of assembly cells and automated equipment at NPI stage and ensure meeting development timeline.



Interface with customers and functional owners on product development issues regarding automation. Conduct design-for-automation examination and provide detailed recommendations. Prepare and maintain documentation related to the operation of the automation equipment Bachelor's Degree is required and related experience/ Strong software development background with a focus on industrial automation solutions. Proven experience designing and implementing automation systems in manufacturing environments. Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0 principles, including digital transformation and smart manufacturing. Proficiency in C#, Python, Visual Studio, . NET Framework/. NET Core, and REST API integration. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and software architecture. Experience applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data-driven technologies to manufacturing processes. Experience developing and supporting software applications for automated production systems. Ability to lead technical automation projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Experience integrating industrial equipment, software platforms, and manufacturing technologies. Knowledge of real-time data acquisition, traceability systems, and manufacturing execution processes.
