About the Role Our client, a reputable developer known for its high-quality residential projects, is looking for a meticulous and experienced Construction Quality Inspector to join their team in Tijuana, Baja California . This role is critical in ensuring that all construction activities meet the company's stringent quality standards and comply with all applicable building codes and regulations. The idóneo candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of construction processes, and the ability to identify and document defects or deviations from plans. You will play a vital role in safeguarding the company's reputation for excellence and ensuring client satisfaction by verifying the quality of materials, workmanship, and finished products in new home construction. This is a hands‐on position that requires a proactive approach to quality assurance in the fast-paced construction environment of Tijuana .
Key Responsibilities Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and quality of work at various stages.
Verify that construction activities comply with approved plans, specifications, and building codes.
Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements.
Identify, document, and report any non-conformities, defects, or potential issues.
Collaborate with site supervisors, project managers, and contractors to address and resolve quality concerns.




Review and approve work completed by subcontractors and suppliers.
Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records, including reports, photos, and test results.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations on construction sites during inspections.
Participate in project meetings to discuss quality control matters.
Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or certification in construction or a related field is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, preferably in a quality control or inspection role.
Thorough understanding of residential construction methods, materials, and building codes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
Good reporting and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage inspection schedules effectively.
Basic knowledge of safety protocols on construction sites.
Familiarity with the construction landscape in Tijuana, Baja California is advantageous.
