About the Role Our client, WhatJobs Direct, is actively seeking a highly analytical and experienced Analista de Datos de Ventas Senior (Remoto) to join their team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in Mexico. You will play a critical role in analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate possesses a strong quantitative background, proficiency in data analysis tools, and a deep understanding of sales processes within the retail sector. Key Responsibilities Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to sales performance
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key sales metrics and KPIs
Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in sales data and provide insightful interpretations
Create sales forecasts and projections based on historical data and market analysis
Evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to provide data-driven recommendations
Identify opportunities for sales process improvement and revenue enhancement




Present findings and insights to senior management and relevant stakeholders
Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting and analysis
Stay abreast of industry best practices and advancements in data analysis techniques
Requirements Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Sales Analyst, or similar role, with a focus on sales data
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, Python, or R
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Solid understanding of retail sales processes, metrics, and KPIs
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data clearly
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote setting
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Business, or a related quantitative field
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
