Job Description: Description A hands‑on internship anchored in Salesforce Opportunity Management, focused on helping turn business needs into clear, structured and actionable initiatives. The intern will gain practical experience in requirements, Business Architecture, capability management, prioritization and governance, with selected opportunities to work with other Salesforce Capability Leads.
The opportunity We are looking for a motivated intern to join our Salesforce organization, with a primary assignment supporting the Opportunity Management capability and its Capability Lead. You will help bring structure to business needs, requirements and change requests as they move through intake, assessment, prioritization and governance. Along the way, you will gain exposure to Salesforce Business Architecture and learn how business needs are translated into well‑defined, prioritized and actionable technology changes. The internship may also include short rotations or project assignments with other Salesforce Capability Leads, giving you broader exposure to how Salesforce supports different business processes while maintaining Opportunity Management as your primary area of focus.
What you'll do Support Opportunity Management demand and intake, helping organize business requirements, enhancements and change requests.
Help clarify the business problem, expected outcome, scope and requirements behind incoming requests.
Identify and track open questions, dependencies and decisions needed for requests to progress.
Coordinate necessary input from business stakeholders, Salesforce Business Architects, IT and other subject‑matter experts.
Support prioritization and governance through clear documentation, decision materials and follow‑up.
Help connect individual Opportunity Management requests to related business processes and Salesforce capabilities.
Turn complex information into clear presentations, summaries and management views.
Participate in selected short rotations or project assignments with other Salesforce Capability Leads to gain exposure to different business processes, priorities and capability needs.
Explore opportunities to improve requirements, intake and governance processes, including practical uses of AI and automation.
What you'll gain This internship provides hands‑on experience at the intersection of business and enterprise technology. You will develop a deeper understanding of Opportunity Management while learning how business requirements are shaped, prioritized and governed within a large‑scale Salesforce environment.
You will see how a business need develops from an initial request into a well‑defined and actionable technology change.
You will gain practical exposure to:
Salesforce and CRM Business analysis and requirements
Business Architecture
Capability management

Demand intake and prioritization
Governance and stakeholder management
AI and automation in an enterprise environment
What we're looking for You do not need to be a Salesforce expert. Curiosity, analytical thinking and the ability to bring structure to complex information are more important.
We are looking for someone with:
Current studies in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Project Management or a related field.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
An interest in understanding business processes and how technology supports them.
The ability to take incomplete or complex information and organize it clearly.
Confidence asking questions and working with different stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel.
Interest in Salesforce, CRM, AI, digital transformation or enterprise technology.
Previous Salesforce experience is helpful, but not required.
Value to HPE The intern will provide additional capacity within Opportunity Management, helping improve the quality and structure of incoming demand, requirements and dependencies and providing clearer information for prioritization and decision‑making.
Value to the intern The intern will get meaningful experience within a specific Salesforce capability while also gaining broader exposure through Business Architecture and selected assignments with other Salesforce Capability Leads. This provides both depth in a business capability and a broader understanding of how enterprise Salesforce changes are evaluated, shaped and governed.
