Key Responsibilities Provide direct social work services to migrant individuals and families, including needs assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention.
Assist migrants in accessing essential services such as shelter, food, healthcare, legal aid, and education in Ciudad Juárez .
Facilitate communication and understanding between migrant populations and local service providers.
Conduct outreach activities to inform migrants about available resources and their rights.
Develop and maintain relationships with local NGOs, government agencies, and community organizations to enhance service delivery.




Document case information, progress notes, and statistical data accurately and confidentially.
Advocate on behalf of migrants to ensure their rights are protected and their needs are met.
Facilitate workshops on relevant topics such as legal rights, cultural adaptation, and access to services.
Stay informed about immigration policies and legal frameworks affecting migrant populations in Chihuahua .
Collaborate with international organizations and border authorities when necessary.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Social Work, International Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in social work, preferably with migrant or refugee populations.
Strong understanding of migration issues, human rights, and relevant legal frameworks.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and cross-cultural mediation skills.
Proficiency in Spanish and English is essential; other relevant languages are a plus.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple cases, and maintain emotional resilience.
Experience with case management and documentation.
Familiarity with the specific challenges faced by migrants in Ciudad Juárez .
