Position Objective

We are seeking Highly Qualified Production Supervisors to lead and optimize our afternoon and night shift operations at our aircraft component repair facility in Mexicali. The ideal candidate will safely and efficiently coordinate a multidisciplinary technical team, ensuring strict compliance with integral aviation regulations and meeting on-time delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily workflow during the assigned shift (2nd or 3rd) across special processes and machining areas.
- Ensure strict compliance with quality standards and airworthiness regulations active within the shop.
- Lead and develop technical personnel on shift, promoting a strong safety culture (SMS), discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including production efficiency, scrap reduction, and On-Time Delivery (OTD).
- Guarantee proper release of aerospace components, ensuring all technical documentation is audit-ready for international authorities.

Areas and Processes Under Supervision

The supervisor will be responsible for overseeing critical aerospace operations, including but not limited to:

- Surface Treatments & Cleaning: Chemical Cleaning, Grit Blasting, and Blend (blade/component repair).
- Thermal Processes: Vacuum Furnaces, Heat Treat, and Braze Welding.
- Advanced Machining: CNC,



EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining), and Plasma Spray.
- Material Joining: Welding (Specialized Aerospace Welding).

Profile Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgical) or related field.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience within a highly regulated Aerospace MRO environment.
- Leadership & Key Soft Skills (Critical Importance):
- Assertive & Proactive Leadership: Proven ability to guide, motivate, and develop multidisciplinary technical teams under your charge.
- Effective Communication: Strong skills to deliver clear instructions, handle smooth shift-handover reports, and maintain transparent communication with management and quality departments.
- Teamwork & Collaboration: A collaborative mindset to resolve complex production-floor issues, aligning personnel toward common safety and delivery goals.
- Resilience: Strong decision-making and conflict-resolution capabilities under high-pressure circumstances.

- Mandatory Regulatory Compliance:

- Solid experience working under international and national aviation regulatory agencies: FAA, EASA, AFAC, JCAB, and CAAC.
- Strong proficiency in the AS9100 Aerospace Quality Management System.





- Certifications (Highly Desirable): Active Class II Engine License (Licencia de Motores Clase II).
- Technical Knowledge: Supervision of special processes (welding, heat treat, machining, etc.) and advanced interpretation of blueprints and manuals (AMM, CMM).
- Shift Availability: Ability to work a fixed 2nd shift or 3rd shift schedule.
- Language: Advanced technical English.
