About the Role Our client, a major international logistics and warehousing provider, is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Remote Global Logistics Operations Coordinator. This fully remote position is ideal for a seasoned professional looking to manage complex international supply chains and drive operational excellence from anywhere. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end flow of goods across international borders, managing customs clearance, coordinating global transportation modes, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in global logistics, a deep understanding of import/export processes, and exceptional skills in managing remote teams and international partners. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate all aspects of global logistics operations, including international freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and cross-border transportation. Develop and implement strategies to optimize global supply chain efficiency, reduce transit times, and minimize costs. Ensure compliance with all international trade regulations, customs laws, and import/export requirements. Oversee the selection and management of global logistics partners and service providers. Monitor and manage international shipments from origin to destination, proactively addressing any issues or delays. Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, sales, operations) and external partners to ensure seamless execution of general logistics plans.



Analyze global logistics data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Manage customs documentation and ensure timely clearance of goods through customs authorities. Stay informed about changes in international trade policies and regulations that may impact operations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in global logistics operations, with a strong emphasis on international freight and customs. Proven experience managing international transportation (air, sea, land) and understanding of multimodal solutions. In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and incoterms. Experience with global logistics software, TMS, and ERP systems. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills. Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse international teams and stakeholders.
