Analyst Supply Planning

Location: Guadalajara, Jalisco (Planta Santa Ana & Planta El Salto)

Languages: Spanish & English (Advanced Required)

How will you fit in the big picture?

As a Supply Planning Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring product availability by developing and maintaining production plans, optimizing inventory levels, and coordinating supply activities across the business. You will collaborate closely with Operations, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Planning teams to support efficient production processes and meet customer demand while contributing to Hershey’s operational excellence and continuous improvement culture.

What will you do?

- Maintain planning systems and parameters to ensure efficient MRP execution.
- Create and manage new item master data in JD Edwards and SAP.
- Review and monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Develop and maintain production plans for manufacturing operations.
- Participate in regular supply review meetings with Operations Planners.
- Validate the availability of raw materials and finished goods required to execute production plans.
- Generate and monitor production schedules while ensuring alignment with demand requirements.




- Manage bulk inventory positions and coordinate inventory reviews with warehouse teams.
- Analyze inventory balances and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce excess stock.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within supply planning and inventory management processes.
- Promote a safe work environment by adhering to all Hershey safety policies and procedures.

Minimum Education & Requirements

1+ years of experience in Supply Planning, Production Planning, Inventory Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain Operations.

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, JD Edwards, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
