Job Summary*To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an* Equipment Maintenance Engineerlocated in Guadalajara, South Campus. Performs preventive maintenance at specified intervals and schedules.

Assists process technicians and engineers with the installation and removal of process equipment.

Sets up standard and special purpose laboratory equipment to test, evaluate and calibrate other instruments and test equipment.

Assists engineers in formulating test, calibration, repair and evaluation plans and procedures to maintain precision accuracy of measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment.

May require travel to other Flex sites or equipment vendors' locations.

Highest level may perform both software and hardware maintenance. The experience we're looking to add to our team: Typically requires an associate degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field, military technical training,



or equivalent education and training.

Experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of the following SMT equipment (FUJI and/or SIPLACE ASMPT Pick and Place equipment, DEK screen printers, Reflow ovens, PVA equipment, Wave soldering equipment) Knowledge of programming and industrial automation systems.

Experience with SMT (Surface Mount Technology) manufacturing processes.

Strong understanding of automation equipment, PLCs, sensors, and production control systems.

Experience developing and implementing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance plans.

Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and computerized systems troubleshooting.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.

Experience in equipment calibration, testing, and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
