We are seeking a Product Design Engineer to support the design, development, and continuous improvement of innovative home appliance products. This role is responsible for applying sound engineering principles, advanced design technologies, and structured development methodologies to ensure products meet performance, quality, cost, and manufacturability requirements. The position plays a key role in delivering high-quality product solutions while ensuring successful implementation into manufacturing.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Conversational English proficiency.




• Proficiency in 3D CAD design and modelling software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or Autodesk Inventor.
• Strong understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) structures, engineering change management, and product documentation.
• Experience as a Product Engineer, Design Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or in a related engineering role.
• Experience investigating product issues, troubleshooting, documenting findings, and implementing corrective actions. Preferred

Experience:
• Hands-on experience in product design and development within the home appliance industry.
• Knowledge of applicable standards and regulations, including NOM, ANSI, ASME, UL, and DOE requirements.
• Additional training or coursework in Thermodynamics, Mechanics, Heat Transfer, and Combustion.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct feasibility analyses considering manufacturing capabilities, product performance, and cost requirements.
• Design and model components, subassemblies, and complete product assemblies using 3D CAD tools.
• Create and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and product documentation.
• Coordinate component and material development activities with suppliers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Manufacturing, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure successful product launches.
• Support laboratory testing and validation activities for prototypes and new product developments.
• Provide technical support to Manufacturing and Service departments.




• Lead and coordinate engineering change implementation activities from concept through production release.
• Ensure compliance with the company's Quality Management System (QMS), procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Support internal and external quality audits and drive corrective actions when required. Core Activities:
• Develop product concepts based on customer needs and market requirements.
• Create parametric product designs that align with manufacturing capabilities and process constraints.
• Manage engineering deviation requests and change control activities, ensuring accurate documentation and drawing updates.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to product design, quality, and manufacturability.
• Monitor and follow up on corrective actions resulting from internal and external audits.
• Adhere to established engineering processes, procedures, and quality standards.
• Promote and support the company's Quality Policy within assigned responsibilities.
