Key Responsibilities
- Design & Release: Utilize NX Software (2D & 3D) to design, modify, and release assigned automotive commodities and components.
- Testing & Validation: Request, authorize, and evaluate required functional, durability, and compliance testing (DVP&R;) in assembly plants.
- Supplier & Plant Support: Coordinate DFMEAs/PFMEAs with suppliers, manage Change Notices, and support Pilot/Pre-series events at assembly plants.
- Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve component-related failures using advanced problem-management processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Propose, validate, and execute cost-reduction strategies and benchmark performance, weight, and cost efficiencies.
