About the Role

Our client, a global leader in air freight and logistics, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Air Cargo Logistics Coordinator . This position is responsible for managing all aspects of air cargo shipments, ensuring timely, efficient, and compliant transportation of goods via air. You will work remotely, leveraging advanced communication tools and logistical expertise to coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, customs brokers, and clients worldwide. Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, and execute air cargo shipments from origin to destination, ensuring adherence to schedules and client requirements.
- Coordinate with airlines to book cargo space, manage flight schedules, and handle necessary documentation.
- Liaise with ground handlers, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to ensure smooth transit and clearance processes.
- Monitor shipment status in real-time, proactively addressing any delays or issues that may arise.
- Ensure compliance with all international air transport regulations, including IATA and country-specific laws.
- Prepare and manage all required shipping documentation, such as air waybills, customs declarations, and import/export permits.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on shipment status and resolving inquiries promptly.




- Analyze shipment data to identify opportunities for cost savings and service improvements.
- Manage relationships with key partners in the air cargo supply chain.
- Handle claims and insurance matters related to lost or damaged cargo.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience specifically in air cargo logistics coordination or management.
- In-depth knowledge of air freight operations, international trade, and customs procedures.
- Familiarity with IATA regulations and dangerous goods handling procedures.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex shipments simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using air cargo management software and tracking systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- A stable internet connection and a dedicated home office setup are required.
