About the Role

Our client, a prominent civil engineering and construction firm operating in Culiacán, Sinaloa , is actively recruiting a Certified Construction Surveyor to enhance their project execution capabilities. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and precision of all layout and measurement tasks on construction sites, directly impacting the integrity and success of our projects. The idóneo candidate will possess a strong understanding of surveying principles, proficiency with advanced surveying equipment and software, and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for establishing and verifying control points, performing site stakeouts, conducting topographic surveys, and providing essential data for construction planning and execution. This is a critical position for professionals dedicated to accuracy and quality in the built environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform precise layout and staking of project elements according to design plans and specifications.
- Conduct topographic surveys to map existing site conditions and prepare base maps for design.
- Establish and maintain horizontal and vertical control networks for construction projects.
- Utilize advanced surveying instruments such as Total Stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, and digital levels.
- Operate and maintain surveying equipment, ensuring accuracy and proper calibration.
- Process and analyze field data using specialized surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center).
- Generate survey reports, drawings, and data deliverables for project teams.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects,



and construction crews to provide necessary survey support.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies while performing field work.
- Perform quantity take-offs and volume calculations as required for progress monitoring and payment verification.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in Surveying or Geomatics is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Surveyor or in a similar role.
- Proven proficiency with modern surveying equipment and techniques.
- Expertise in using CAD software for survey data processing and drafting (AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
- Strong understanding of land surveying principles, mathematics, and geometry.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and legal descriptions.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and calculations.
- Good physical condition to work outdoors in various weather conditions and on uneven terrain.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Based in or able to reliably commute to Culiacán, Sinaloa .
