About the Role

Our client, a leading aviation services provider, is seeking a skilled Aircraft Navigation and Communication Technician for their state-of-the-art facility in Cancún, Quintana Roo . This role is essential for maintaining the integrity and functionality of critical navigation and communication systems on aircraft, ensuring safe and efficient flight operations. The idóneo candidate will have extensive experience with avionics systems, a strong understanding of electronic principles, and a meticulous approach to troubleshooting and repair. Key Responsibilities

Install, inspect, test, adjust, and repair aircraft navigation and communication systems. Diagnose avionics system malfunctions using diagnostic tools and test equipment. Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on a variety of aircraft communication equipment, including radios, transponders, and data links. Calibrate navigation systems, such as GPS, INS, and autopilots. Ensure all work performed complies with manufacturer specifications, FAA/DGAC regulations, and company standards. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities performed.



Collaborate with flight crews and other maintenance personnel to ensure timely and effective repairs. Stay updated on the latest technologies and advancements in avionics.

Requirements

Certified Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) with an Avionics specialization or equivalent technical degree. Minimum of 3 years of experience working with aircraft navigation and communication systems. Proven experience with troubleshooting and repairing avionics equipment. Proficiency with electronic test equipment and diagnostic software. Strong understanding of radio frequency (RF) principles, digital electronics, and aircraft electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret complex technical documentation. Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail. Good communication skills in Spanish; English proficiency is a plus. Must be able to obtain and maintain any required certifications and security clearances.
