About the Role

Our client, a rapidly growing international company with operations in Mexico, is looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Analyst with strong English language proficiency to join their finance team in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco . This role is critical for managing the company's payables process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. The idóneo candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent communication skills, both in Spanish and English, to liaise effectively with international suppliers and internal departments. Key Responsibilities

- Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and authorization.
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, from invoice receipt to payment processing.
- Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving reports.
- Prepare and execute weekly payment runs.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and organized vendor master files.
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary AP documentation.




- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding procure-to-pay processes.

Requirements

- High school diploma or vocational training in accounting or a related field; Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent command of both Spanish and English (written and verbal) is essential for international communication.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills to address vendor and invoice discrepancies.
- Residency or ability to commute to Tlaquepaque, Jalisco . A proactive and professional attitude.
