About the Role

Our client, a reputable accounting firm, is seeking motivated students for an Accounting and Finance Internship . This is a foundational opportunity to gain practical experience in core accounting functions, financial reporting, and tax preparation. You will work directly with senior accountants, assisting with client accounts and learning the intricacies of financial management in a professional environment. The role requires a dedicated on-site presence at our client's offices in Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes , to handle sensitive financial documents and collaborate closely with the team. This is an excellent entry point for aspiring accountants and finance professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing financial statements and reports. Record financial transactions and maintain general ledger accuracy. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Help with tax return preparation and filing. Participate in account reconciliations and variance analysis. Assist in audit preparation and support. Learn and apply accounting software and ERP systems. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance,



or a related field. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (debits, credits, financial statements). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Good organizational and time management abilities. Excellent communication skills. Must be legally authorized to work in Mexico. Must be available to work full-time on-site in Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes .
