About the Role

Our client, a growing company in the consumer goods sector based in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas , is seeking a proactive Industrial Engineer to focus on process development and product lifecycle management. This role is essential for ensuring that new products are seamlessly integrated into manufacturing processes, meeting quality and efficiency targets from conception to launch. The idóneo candidate will possess a strong understanding of product development cycles, manufacturing processes, and quality control principles. You will work closely with R&D;, design, and production teams to optimize processes, conduct pilot runs, and ensure smooth scale-up. This is an on-site position critical for driving innovation and ensuring product success in the market.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
- Collaborate with R&D; and design teams to ensure product manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Plan and execute pilot production runs to test and validate new processes.
- Analyze production data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation for product launches.
- Ensure that all new products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues related to product design or process implementation.




- Work with the supply chain team to ensure the availability of necessary materials for production.
- Monitor product performance in the market and provide feedback for future design iterations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing floor.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial engineering, process development, or product development.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and product lifecycle management.
- Experience with quality control procedures and methodologies.
- Proficiency in process mapping, data analysis, and problem-solving techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with design software or simulation tools is a plus.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas .
