Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and deploy software for embedded automotive systems and applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in languages such as C++, Java, Python, or similar.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including hardware engineers, system architects, and product managers, to define software requirements and architecture.
- Implement software solutions for features like infotainment systems, navigation, connectivity, ADAS, and vehicle diagnostics.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure software quality and stability.
- Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and system tests.




- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in automotive software development and embedded systems.
- Ensure software compliance with industry standards and automotive safety regulations (e.g., ISO 26262).
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and tools.
- Effectively communicate technical information and progress updates in a fully remote setting.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a significant focus on embedded systems or automotive software.
- Strong programming skills in C++, Java, Python, or other relevant languages.
- Experience with automotive software development processes and tools (e.g., AUTOSAR, QNX, Linux).
- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet).
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
- Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for effective remote teamwork.
- Understanding of automotive safety standards like ISO 26262 is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Spanish is required; fluency in English is a strong asset.
