About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Farmacéutico de Gestión de Riesgos to join their team in Acapulco, Guerrero, MX . This critical role focuses on identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with medication use to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with healthcare teams to implement robust risk management strategies, monitor adverse events, and promote best practices in medication safety. Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and manage medication safety and risk management programs.
- Monitor and analyze medication error reports and adverse drug event (ADE) data.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver training on medication safety best practices to healthcare professionals.
- Stay current with regulations and guidelines related to pharmacovigilance and drug safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address medication safety concerns.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives focused on reducing medication-related harm.
- Contribute to the development and review of pharmacy policies and procedures.




- Maintain comprehensive records of risk management activities and outcomes.
- Promote a culture of safety and accountability within the pharmacy department and organization.

Requirements

- Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Guerrero, Mexico.
- Minimum of 5 years of pharmacy experience, with at least 3 years in a role focused on medication safety, risk management, or pharmacovigilance.
- In-depth knowledge of patient safety principles, medication error analysis, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Strong understanding of Mexican pharmacovigilance regulations and reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and pharmacy information systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong commitment to patient safety and quality improvement.
