About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Ingeniero de Software Embebido Senior to join their innovative product development team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute from anywhere within Mexico. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging embedded software for cutting-edge hardware products. The adecuado candidate possesses a strong foundation in C/C++, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and experience with microcontrollers and embedded systems. You will collaborate closely with hardware engineers and other software developers to bring complex projects to life. Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement embedded software solutions in C/C++.
- Develop and optimize code for real-time operating systems (RTOS) and bare-metal environments.
- Work with microcontrollers, SoCs, and various embedded hardware platforms.
- Create and execute unit tests and integration tests for embedded software.
- Debug complex software and hardware issues using development tools and oscilloscopes.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system requirements and integration points.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to software development best practices.
- Document software designs, requirements, and test procedures.
- Analyze system performance and identify areas for optimization.




- Stay current with advancements in embedded systems technology and methodologies.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in embedded software development.
- Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or VxWorks.
- Familiarity with microcontroller architectures (e.g., ARM Cortex-M, ESP32).
- Experience with debugging tools, JTAG, and logic analyzers.
- Understanding of communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, CAN).
- Knowledge of embedded Linux is a plus.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
