About the Role

Our client, a major player in the retail sector, is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Especialista en Logística y Cadena de Suministro Retail to manage and optimize their supply chain operations in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, MX. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient flow of goods from suppliers to our client's distribution centers and retail stores. The adecuado candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of logistics, inventory management, transportation, and warehousing. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance overall supply chain performance. Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee all aspects of the retail supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics operations, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.
- Negotiate with carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers to secure favorable terms.
- Monitor inventory levels across the supply chain to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize carrying costs.
- Implement and utilize supply chain management software and technologies.
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Sales, Operations, Merchandising)

Requirements

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field within the retail industry.
- Proven experience in managing warehousing, transportation, and inventory control.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in using supply chain management software (e.g., WMS, TMS) and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership and project management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in the Chihuahua region's logistics landscape is a significant advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
