This senior position involves overseeing large-scale cultivation projects, focusing on optimizing yield, quality, and sustainability for tropical crops such as mangoes, avocados, and citrus. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic planning, resource allocation, and the implementation of advanced agronomic practices. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive agronomic plans for tropical crop cultivation.

- Monitor soil health, water management, and nutrient requirements, implementing appropriate interventions.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in agricultural engineering and crop management, with a strong focus on tropical crops.
- In-depth knowledge of tropical fruit cultivation (e.g., mango, avocado, papaya, citrus).
- Proven experience in implementing sustainable agricultural practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in agricultural software, data analysis, and GIS applications.
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish; English proficiency is a significant asset.
- Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding environment and varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the operational areas.
