About the Role

Our client is seeking a vigilant and skilled Analista de Ciberseguridad y Respuesta a Incidentes to join their Information Security team in Monterrey, Reciente León . This role is critical for monitoring security systems, detecting threats, and managing the response to security incidents. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of cybersecurity threats and technologies, and the ability to react quickly and effectively under pressure. You will be instrumental in safeguarding our client's digital assets and ensuring business continuity in the face of cyber risks, operating from the industrial heartland of Monterrey .

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor security alerts and events from various sources, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint detection systems.
- Investigate potential security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and determine the scope and impact.
- Develop and execute incident response plans, coordinating efforts across different teams.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on security incidents, including root cause analysis and lessons learned.
- Implement and manage security tools and technologies to enhance threat detection and prevention capabilities.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training to employees.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of security policies and procedures.
- Participate in threat hunting activities to proactively identify potential threats.




- Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure security requirements are met.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or threat analysis.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack), IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and common attack vectors.
- Experience in forensic analysis and malware analysis is a plus.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or GIAC are beneficial.
- Experience within the Nuevo León industrial sector is advantageous.
