Key Responsibilities

- Instalar, configurar y mantener sistemas de gestión de bases de datos (DBMS) como SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
- Administrar y dar soporte a sistemas operativos de servidores (Windows Server, Linux).
- Monitorear el rendimiento de las bases de datos y sistemas, implementando optimizaciones para asegurar la máxima eficiencia.
- Implementar y gestionar estrategias de backup y recuperación de desastres, garantizando la continuidad del negocio.
- Asegurar la seguridad de las bases de datos y sistemas, aplicando parches, configurando firewalls y gestionando permisos de acceso.
- Realizar copias de seguridad, restauraciones y migraciones de bases de datos según sea necesario.
- Solucionar problemas de bases de datos y sistemas de manera oportuna y efectiva.
- Documentar configuraciones, procedimientos y políticas relacionadas con la administración de bases de datos y sistemas.
- Colaborar con los equipos de desarrollo y de TI para soportar las necesidades de aplicaciones y servicios.
- Mantenerse actualizado sobre las últimas tecnologías y tendencias en administración de bases de datos y sistemas.

Requirements

- Título universitario en Informática, Ingeniería de Sistemas,



o un campo relacionado, o experiencia laboral equivalente.
- Mínimo de 5 años de experiencia comprobada como Administrador de Bases de Datos y/o Administrador de Sistemas.
- Profundo conocimiento de la administración y optimización de bases de datos relacionales y NoSQL.
- Experiencia sólida en administración de servidores Windows y Linux.
- Competencia en lenguajes de scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) para automatización de tareas.
- Conocimiento de tecnologías de virtualización (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V).
- Comprensión de redes, protocolos de red y seguridad de sistemas.
- Excelentes habilidades de resolución de problemas y diagnóstico.
- Capacidad para trabajar de forma independiente, gestionar múltiples prioridades y cumplir con los plazos.
- Excelentes habilidades de comunicación verbal y escrita.
