About the Role

Our client, a rapidly growing technology firm in Monterrey, Nuevo León, is looking for an experienced Payroll and Compensation Specialist to join their HR team. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, managing employee compensation structures, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. You will play a key part in managing the financial well-being of our employees and contributing to competitive compensation strategies. The idóneo candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong understanding of payroll systems and compensation principles. This position involves a hybrid work arrangement, offering a blend of in-office collaboration in Monterrey, Nuevo León, and remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

- Process payroll accurately and efficiently for all employees in Mexico.
- Manage all aspects of compensation, including salary structures, bonus programs, and benefits administration.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll tax regulations.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other statutory benefits.
- Maintain up-to-date employee records in the HRIS and payroll systems.
- Reconcile payroll reports and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist in developing and analyzing compensation surveys and market data.
- Provide support to employees regarding payroll and benefits inquiries.
- Collaborate with the finance department on payroll-related matters.




- Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations affecting payroll and compensation.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing and compensation management.
- In-depth knowledge of Mexican payroll regulations and tax laws.
- Proficiency with payroll software and HRIS systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
