About the Role

Our client is seeking an imaginative and skilled Jefe de Barra to lead the mixology program at a premier establishment in vibrant Acapulco, Guerrero. You will curate the spirits selection, design signature cocktails, and manage the bar operations with precision and flair. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute an innovative and sophisticated cocktail menu featuring signature creations.
- Source and manage inventory of spirits, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies.
- Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails and other beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Train and mentor bar staff, ensuring consistency and excellence in drink preparation and service.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Manage bar costs, including inventory control, ordering, and minimizing waste.
- Engage with guests,



providing recommendations and ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- Stay abreast of current mixology trends and techniques, introducing new concepts.
- Work closely with management to plan bar strategies and promotional events.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Bar Manager, Head Bartender, or Lead Mixologist.
- Demonstrated expertise in mixology, including classic and contemporary cocktail creation.
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Experience with inventory management and cost control.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Certification in mixology or beverage management is a plus.
- Creative and passionate about the art of crafting drinks.
- A flair for presentation and engaging with guests is essential for this role in Acapulco.
