Responsibilities

- Lead, supervise, and develop the Accounting and Finance team.
- Oversee general accounting activities, monthly closing processes, and compliance with internal procedures.
- Prepare and review tax filings, ensuring compliance with Mexican tax regulations.
- Monitor cash flow and identify potential financial risks or discrepancies.
- Oversee IVA refund processes and tax compliance requirements applicable to maquiladora operations.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and respond to inquiries from SAT, IMSS, INFONAVIT, and other regulatory authorities.
- Supervise invoicing, credit notes, account reconciliations, and related accounting processes.
- Collaborate with Compliance and Foreign Trade departments to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Monitor REPSE-related obligations and supplier compliance requirements.
- Partner with operational departments to address accounting, financial, and administrative matters.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Support departmental planning,



resource management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Public Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting and tax-related functions within the maquiladora industry.
- Previous experience supervising and managing accounting teams.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican tax legislation and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with maquiladora tax requirements, including Safe Harbor calculations.
- Experience managing IVA refund processes.
- Knowledge of REPSE requirements and supplier compliance.
- Experience coordinating audits and responding to tax authority inquiries.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, invoicing, and month-end closing procedures.
- Experience using Oracle ERP and advanced Microsoft Office applications.
- Advanced English proficiency.
