About the Role

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the FMCG food sector, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead their operations in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico . This critical role involves overseeing all aspects of the food production process, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The idóneo candidate will have a strong background in food manufacturing, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of production planning, process optimization, and quality control within the fast-moving consumer goods industry. You will be responsible for managing the production team, maintaining equipment, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and optimize daily production operations to meet output, quality, and cost objectives.
- Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to timelines.
- Oversee the production team, providing leadership, training, and performance management.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety standards (HACCP, GMP) and quality control procedures.
- Monitor production processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure all production machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition.
- Work closely with procurement, quality assurance, and logistics departments to ensure smooth operations.




- Analyze production data to identify trends, improve yields, and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Requirements

- Requirements Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in production management, preferably within the food FMCG industry.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large production teams and complex manufacturing processes.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP) and quality management systems.
- Proven ability to implement lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with cost control and budget management for production.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the vicinity of Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico.
