About the Role

Our client, a dynamic and growing manufacturing entity in Naucalpan, State of Mexico , is actively recruiting an Industrial Engineer with expertise in production systems and automation. This hybrid role is designed for professionals who can effectively manage on-site operational improvements while contributing strategically from a remote location. The core responsibility involves designing, implementing, and optimizing automated production lines and systems to enhance efficiency, throughput, and product consistency. You will work with state-of-the-art technologies, collaborating closely with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams. Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement automated production systems and machinery.
- Optimize existing production lines for increased efficiency, reduced cycle times, and improved quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product introductions and process improvements.
- Select, specify, and oversee the installation of new equipment and technologies.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including P&IDs;, equipment manuals, and SOPs.
- Troubleshoot automation issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for automation projects.
- Stay current with advancements in automation technology, robotics, and Industry 4.0.




- Train operations and maintenance personnel on new systems and equipment.
- Monitor production performance metrics and identify opportunities for further optimization.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering, with a significant focus on automation and production systems.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting automated manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of PLC programming, robotics, and control systems.
- Experience with CAD software for system design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage projects effectively and meet deadlines.
- Must be comfortable working in a hybrid capacity, with requirements for on-site presence in Naucalpan, State of Mexico .
- Experience in the (Specify a relevant industry if possible, e.g., electronics, automotive, consumer goods) sector is preferred.
