About the Role

Our client, a major player in the automotive industry, is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist for their operations in Puebla, Puebla. This critical role involves managing and fostering positive relationships between employees and management, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and contributing to a fair and productive work environment. You will be instrumental in addressing employee concerns, mediating disputes, and advising management on HR policies and labor relations matters. The adecuado candidate possesses strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of labor legislation in Mexico. This position is based at our Puebla, Puebla facility.

Key Responsibilities

- Investigate and resolve employee grievances and conflicts effectively.
- Advise management on labor law compliance and best practices.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures related to employee relations.
- Conduct training sessions for employees and managers on relevant topics (e.g., workplace conduct, anti-harassment).
- Participate in collective bargaining processes and union relations if applicable.
- Ensure fair and consistent application of disciplinary actions.
- Monitor the work environment to identify and address potential risks.
- Maintain accurate records of employee relations activities and investigations.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and ethical organizational culture.




- Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure cohesive HR support.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience specifically in Employee Relations or Labor Relations.
- In-depth knowledge of Mexican labor laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in conducting investigations and mediating disputes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex situations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.
