About the Role

Our client, a leading developer of commercial properties, is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Site Manager (Jefe de Obra Senior) to oversee the construction of major commercial projects in Zapopan, Jalisco . Key Responsibilities

- Direct and manage all site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of all site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on the construction site.
- Manage project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement timely solutions.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports.




- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality of workmanship and materials used.
- Manage the site logistics, including material storage, equipment deployment, and site security.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in site supervision and construction project management, with a strong focus on commercial projects.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale commercial construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and relevant construction technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Adaptability to work on-site in Zapopan, Jalisco.
