About the Role

Our client, a prominent financial services company, is seeking diligent students for a Technical Support and IT Internship . This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our client's IT infrastructure and providing timely assistance to end-users. You will gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing IT assets, and supporting network operations. This position requires a full-time commitment on-site in San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí , to manage hardware and provide immediate user support. It's an excellent opportunity to develop foundational IT skills in a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide first-level technical support to employees, addressing hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems promptly and efficiently.
- Assist in managing IT inventory and asset tracking.
- Support network connectivity troubleshooting.
- Document support requests, resolutions, and IT procedures.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on various IT projects.




- Ensure adherence to IT policies and security protocols.

Requirements

- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of PC hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and common software applications.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Mexico.
- Must be available to work full-time on-site in San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí .
