About the Role

Our client, a prominent brand in the retail sector, is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Gerente de Desarrollo de Canales to join their team in the bustling city of Acapulco, Guerrero . This role is pivotal in identifying, developing, and managing diverse retail channels to expand product reach and drive sales volume. You will be responsible for forging and strengthening relationships with retailers, distributors, and other channel partners, ensuring optimal product placement and promotional execution. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement strategies for expanding and optimizing retail sales channels.
- Identify and evaluate potential new retail partners and distribution opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with existing channel partners.
- Negotiate terms, agreements, and promotional plans with retailers and distributors.
- Analyze channel performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure effective product merchandising and visibility within retail environments.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align channel strategies with overall business objectives.




- Manage channel budgets and ensure profitability targets are met.
- Provide insights and recommendations for channel development to senior management.

Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in channel management, sales, or business development, with a strong focus on retail.
- Proven success in developing and managing multiple retail channels (e.g., supermarkets, department stores, specialty stores).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and distribution.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market insights to drive strategic decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Acapulco, Guerrero , and comfortable with a hybrid work arrangement.
- Experience in the tourism or hospitality retail sector is a plus.
