About the Role

Our client, a renowned innovator in automotive technology, is seeking a creative and skilled Ingeniero de Diseño Mecánico para Sistemas Automotrices to join their engineering hub in Toluca, State of Mexico. This position is central to the conceptualization, design, and development of new mechanical systems and components for vehicles. You will utilize advanced CAD tools and engineering principles to create designs that are optimized for performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical components and systems for automotive applications using CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and specifications for manufacturing. Perform stress analysis, thermal analysis, and other simulations to validate designs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D;, manufacturing, and testing engineers, throughout the product development cycle. Identify design issues and propose innovative solutions to meet technical and performance requirements. Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements. Support prototype development, testing,



and validation activities. Contribute to design reviews and provide constructive feedback. Maintain design documentation and revision control. Stay updated on new design tools, technologies, and trends in the automotive industry.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical design, with a strong focus on automotive systems. Proficiency in using advanced CAD software (e.g., CATIA V5/V6, SolidWorks). Experience with CAE tools for simulation and analysis (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus). Strong understanding of material science, manufacturing processes, and automotive components. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Good communication and teamwork skills. Experience in the automotive sector in or around Toluca, State of Mexico is a significant advantage. Creativity and a passion for automotive design innovation.
