About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Coordinator of Sports Talent Development to join their team in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco . This position is responsible for identifying, nurturing, and supporting emerging athletic talent within our programs. The idóneo candidate will have a strong understanding of athletic training principles, talent identification strategies, and athlete well-being. You will work closely with coaches, athletes, and sports organizations to create pathways for development and success. This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about sports and committed to helping young athletes reach their full potential. You will be instrumental in building a strong pipeline of talent for our client's initiatives in the vibrant sports community of Tlaquepaque .

Key Responsibilities

Implement strategies for identifying and recruiting promising young athletes. Develop and manage individualized development plans for athletes, in collaboration with coaches. Monitor athlete progress, performance, and well-being, providing feedback and support. Organize and facilitate training camps, workshops, and developmental clinics. Liaise with educational institutions and other sports bodies to create opportunities for athletes. Maintain accurate records of athlete development and performance data. Educate athletes and parents on topics such as nutrition, sports psychology, and career pathways.



Assist in the coordination of team logistics for developmental squads or programs. Stay current with best practices in talent development and sports science. Promote a positive and supportive environment for athlete growth within Jalisco .

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Kinesiology, Sports Management, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in sports coaching, talent identification, or athlete development. Demonstrated understanding of athletic training principles and performance analysis. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with athletes, coaches, and parents. Strong organizational and planning abilities. Knowledge of sports psychology and athlete well-being is advantageous. Proficiency in using data management systems for tracking athlete progress. A genuine passion for sports and developing young talent. Familiarity with the local sports scene in Tlaquepaque is a plus.
