About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Planning and Management Control to oversee financial planning, budgeting, and performance management processes in Tijuana, Baja California. This critical role will be responsible for developing financial strategies, analyzing performance data, and providing key insights to support executive decision-making. The adecuado candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP&A;), and excellent leadership capabilities. You will play a vital role in ensuring the financial health and strategic alignment of the organization. This position offers a hybrid work model, enabling collaborative engagement within our Tijuana office while allowing for focused work remotely.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of the company's annual budget and long-term financial plans. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial and operational performance. Analyze financial results, identify variances, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management. Develop financial models for forecasting, scenario planning, and strategic decision support. Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective budget management.



Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements across the organization. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards. Provide leadership and mentorship to the planning and control team. Contribute to strategic planning initiatives and business development activities. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CPA is a strong plus. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A;), management control, or a similar role. Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle Hyperion). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines. Experience in a manufacturing or international business environment is advantageous. Must be comfortable working in a hybrid environment from our Tijuana, Baja California office.
