About the Role

Our client, a forward-thinking fintech company, is seeking a strategic Decentralized Finance (De Fi) Strategist to join our team in Oaxaca City, Oaxaca. This role is crucial for developing and executing innovative De Fi strategies that leverage blockchain technology to create new financial products and services. You will analyze market trends, identify opportunities within the De Fi ecosystem, and guide the development of cutting-edge solutions. The idóneo candidate possesses a deep understanding of De Fi protocols, smart contracts, tokenomics, and the broader cryptocurrency landscape, combined with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive De Fi strategies for the company. Analyze the De Fi landscape, identifying emerging trends, protocols, and opportunities. Evaluate the feasibility and risks of integrating various De Fi protocols (e.g., lending, borrowing, DEXs, yield farming). Design tokenomics models for new projects and ecosystems. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to guide the development of De Fi-powered products and services. Monitor the performance of De Fi strategies and portfolios, making adjustments as necessary. Stay abreast of regulatory developments impacting the De Fi space. Conduct market research and competitive analysis within the De Fi sector.



Educate internal stakeholders on De Fi concepts and potential applications. Build and maintain relationships with key players in the De Fi ecosystem. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Proven experience in financial markets, with a significant focus on Decentralized Finance (De Fi) and cryptocurrencies. Deep understanding of De Fi protocols, including AMMs, lending platforms, derivatives, and stablecoins. Knowledge of smart contract functionality and blockchain technology. Strong analytical, quantitative, and strategic planning skills. Experience with financial modeling and market analysis. Familiarity with tokenomics design principles. Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate complex ideas clearly. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
