About the Role

Our client, a premier hospitality group focused on luxury coastal experiences, is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Director de Operaciones de Resorts Deportivos Marinos to oversee their flagship property in Acapulco, Guerrero. This senior leadership position is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction across all resort amenities, with a strong emphasis on marine sports and activities. Key Responsibilities Oversee all day-to-day operations of the resort, including accommodation, food & beverage, and marine sports activities. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, profitability, and guest experience. Manage departmental budgets, control costs, and maximize revenue streams. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and licensing regulations. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of department managers and staff to achieve exceptional performance. Maintain the highest standards of service quality and guest satisfaction. Oversee the procurement and maintenance of marine sports equipment and facilities. Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies for resort offerings, particularly marine activities. Foster strong relationships with local authorities,



suppliers, and community stakeholders. Implement innovative programs and services to differentiate the resort in the market. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA is preferred. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in luxury hotel or resort management, with a focus on operations. Proven experience managing marine sports operations or similar water-based recreational facilities. Strong financial acumen, including budget management and P&L; responsibility. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to manage large teams and complex operations. Knowledge of the hospitality and tourism industry, particularly coastal and marine tourism. Proficiency in hotel management systems and standard office software. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing market demands. Passion for hospitality, marine environments, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
