About the RoleOur client, a fast-paced consumer goods company, is seeking a proactive and analytical Especialista en Compras y Planeación de Demanda to join their supply chain team in Tijuana, Baja California. This role is critical for ensuring that the right products are available at the right time and place, by effectively forecasting demand and managing procurement activities. You will play a key role in optimizing inventory levels, reducing costs, and improving customer satisfaction through effective demand planning and supply chain coordination.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales input.Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather forecast information and align on expectations.Translate demand forecasts into procurement plans, determining optimal order quantities and timing.Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods and services that meet quality standards.Monitor inventory levels across multiple locations, implementing strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.Analyze supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.Work with logistics partners to ensure efficient transportation and warehousing of goods.Negotiate with suppliers on lead times and delivery schedules.Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain,
