A Sr Quality Engineer is responsible for identifying and implementing strategic plans within the Quality Management System which improve product quality, output and ultimately customer satisfaction. Sr Quality Engineers are also heavily involved in data collection activities and analytics aimed at identifying continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- Monitor trends and analyze issues detected on process/product audits and repair
- Creating measurement systems and inspection methods
- Lead and follow up actions generated during quality critical few meetings and evaluate actions effectiveness
- Track continuous improvement projects across the company
- Perform finished product audits in a weekly/monthly basis for all production lines
- Coordinate document control for the quality system
- Coordinate and control measurement systems and equipment for all processes
- Follow up with suppliers on quality issues




- Coordinate internal audits for ISO compliance
- Coordinate management review meetings on monthly basis
- Work closely with Human Resources to improve training system

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree required.
- Five or more years of related experience required.
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Kaizen, SPC and Lean Mfg concepts preferred
- Knowledge of Deming, Juran and Taguchi is desired
- Automotive assembly experience desired
- Knowledge and use of statistical software (i.e. Minitab) desired
- Core Tools knowledge desired
- Planning, leadership, and organizational skills required
- Strong experience in Refrigeration process
- Supplier qualifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per month
