The Role The Production Engineer is responsible for achieving production objectives while ensuring compliance with safety, health, quality, environmental, volume, and delivery requirements.
The role manages operational resources, frontline personnel, and equipment preservation to sustain safe and reliable manufacturing performance in the assigned area.
What You'll Do (Impact Areas) Safety, Health enforce lockout/tagout (LOTO) and applicable safety procedures, including special-work permits.
Conduct SafeTrack observations, follow up on planned inspections, and support incident investigations and escalation.
Ensure compliance with environmental procedures, including ISO requirements, and respond appropriately to environmental risks.
Production Execution ensure proper identification and containment of nonconforming product.
Follow and enforce applicable IATF quality procedures, layered process audits (LPA), deviation escalation, and rapid response actions.
Stop activities that jeopardize product quality and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
