Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Chief Information Security Officer to lead enterprise-wide cybersecurity, information security governance, and technology risk management for a major organization operating in Mexico.

This executive will be responsible for protecting critical business infrastructure, ensuring regulatory compliance, and safeguarding corporate information against cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and execute the organization's cybersecurity strategy.
- Lead enterprise information security, cyber risk, and threat intelligence operations.
- Protect critical infrastructure, financial systems, and sensitive corporate information.
- Direct incident response, disaster recovery, and cyber resilience programs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable CNBV regulations, ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS standards.
- Oversee cybersecurity investments,



technology risk assessments, and third-party security.
- Report cybersecurity exposure and strategic risks to the CEO and Board of Directors.
- Lead information security teams and external cybersecurity partners.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in information technology and cybersecurity.
- Minimum 5 years in senior cybersecurity leadership.
- Previous experience as CISO, Head of Cybersecurity, or Information Security Director.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or multinational corporations.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, identity management, cybersecurity frameworks, and regulatory compliance.
- CISSP, CISM, or CISA certification preferred.
- Fluent English required.
