We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags and steering wheels and you can be part of our team as Development and Application Engineer.
In this role you will be responsible for In this role you will be responsible for development and validation of steering wheel products pre and post-SoP Lead, execute and support various project activities during technical phases of awarded programs.
This will require collaboration with all CFT team members (divisional and global), interface with OEM's, internal supporting groups, manufacturing facilities, and suppliers.
Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve : Lead the design, development, and validation of steering wheel and driver airbag products, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, safety requirements, and Autoliv standards.




Collaborate with OEM customers to balance styling expectations, product performance, manufacturability, and cost objectives throughout the product development process.
Coordinate with global engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders to successfully validate and launch general programs at the local level.
Drive product and process improvements by evaluating design alternatives, resolving technical issues, and ensuring robust validation activities are completed on time.
Ensure products achieve Right First Time (1P1P) performance by applying engineering best practices, managing technical risks, and supporting successful program execution from development through launch.
If you have/are: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Experience in steering wheel, driver airbag, automotive interior, Class A surface component design, product design, and CAE analysis.
Proficiency in CAD design, GD
