Merck seeks a Medical Science Liaison for cardiometabolic and autoimmune disease management in Mexico City. The role involves field-based peer-to-peer medical engagement with key decision makers, scientific expertise development, and internal strategic support across therapeutic areas.
Responsibilities
Conduct non-promotional peer-to-peer medical and scientific exchange with scientific leaders and key decision makers
Gather and synthesize field medical insights on unmet needs, treatment patterns, and stakeholder feedback
Develop and maintain relationships with external experts and internal stakeholders
Support country medical affairs plan development and local data generation activities
Provide medical input on publications, value dossiers, reimbursement strategies,



and market access initiatives
Requirements
Medical Doctor, Specialist, Pharmacist, Biologist, or related biomedical degree with valid professional license
Minimum 1 year field medical experience (MSL, Medical Advisor, or clinical/scientific liaison)
Prior or current experience in cardiometabolic disease management
Ability to communicate and interpret clinical data with healthcare professionals
Fluent English (written and spoken)
Willingness to travel up to 35% as business needs require
Demonstrated non-promotional peer-to-peer scientific exchange capability
