Requirements

Must-have experience

- Strong experience in Azure Infrastructure Administration, including subscription management, Resource Groups, Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints, DNS, Network Security Groups, Azure Load Balancer, and Azure Storage.
- Hands-on experience administering and supporting Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments in enterprise production environments.
- Experience with FSLogix profile management, image management, patching, and lifecycle maintenance for virtual desktop environments.
- Expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, including RBAC, Conditional Access, Managed Identities, group management, and access reviews.
- Experience managing Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and implementing least-privilege access models.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Governance and Security, including Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, Security Center, governance frameworks, compliance controls, and security guardrails.
- Experience with Azure Key Vault, including secrets, certificates, and encryption key management.
- Experience implementing secure automation practices using Managed Identities and Azure-native security controls.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, alerting, dashboards, incident management, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and capacity planning.
- Experience automating operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Azure Automation, ARM Templates, and Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Experience supporting enterprise cloud operations, production environments, and platform administration after project implementation.
- Knowledge of change management processes, audit readiness, access control frameworks,



and operational documentation standards.
- Ability to collaborate with architecture, engineering, security, and operations teams to ensure platform stability and compliance.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice-to-have experience
- Experience with Nerdio platform administration and optimization.
- Experience with Azure Landing Zones and multi-subscription governance models.
- Advanced Infrastructure as Code experience using Bicep.
- Experience managing export-controlled or highly regulated environments.
- Experience implementing cloud security monitoring and threat protection practices using Defender for Cloud.
- Knowledge of ITIL-based service management processes.
- Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Azure Network Engineer Associate.
- ITIL Foundation certification.

Responsibilities

- Administer and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, subscriptions, networking, storage, and platform services.
- Support day-to-day Azure Virtual Desktop operations, including image management, patching, performance monitoring, and platform maintenance.
- Manage Microsoft Entra ID configurations, role assignments, privileged access, identity governance, and access reviews.
- Implement and maintain Azure governance policies, security controls, compliance requirements, and operational guardrails.
- Manage Azure Key Vault services, including secrets, certificates, encryption keys, and secure identity integrations.
- Monitor platform health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, dashboards, and automated alerting solutions.
- Investigate incidents, perform Root Cause Analysis, and implement preventive measures to improve service reliability.




- Develop and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Azure Automation, ARM Templates, and Bicep.
- Collaborate with security, architecture, and engineering teams to ensure compliance, operational excellence, and platform stability.
- Support audit activities, regulatory requirements, documentation standards, and change management processes.
- Partner with Azure platform engineering teams to transition solutions into operational support and ongoing administration.
- Ensure high availability, performance, security, and scalability of Azure infrastructure services.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, operational standards, and cloud platform optimization efforts.
