About the Role Our client, a leading international corporation with diverse business interests, is actively seeking a highly accomplished Abogado de Litigios Complejos to join their globally distributed legal department. This position is fully remote and will involve managing and overseeing high-stakes litigation matters across various jurisdictions, with a significant focus on commercial disputes, antitrust, and regulatory investigations. The successful candidate will possess a strong strategic mindset, exceptional courtroom advocacy skills (when required), and the ability to manage intricate legal challenges effectively from a remote work environment. Key Responsibilities Manage and direct complex litigation portfolios, including commercial disputes, class actions, and regulatory enforcement actions.
Develop and execute litigation strategies, working closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis of case facts and applicable laws.
Oversee discovery processes, including e-discovery, and manage outside counsel in their execution.
Represent the company in settlement negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations.
Advise senior management on litigation risks, potential liabilities, and resolution strategies.
Coordinate with relevant business units to gather necessary information and support litigation efforts.
Ensure compliance with all procedural rules and reporting requirements.




Stay current on legal trends and best practices in complex litigation.
Requirements Law degree (Licenciatura en Derecho) and licensed to practice in Mexico. An LL.M. or equivalent foreign qualification is a significant advantage.
Minimum of 9 years of experience in handling complex commercial litigation, preferably within a large corporation or a top-tier law firm.
Proven experience managing multifaceted litigation matters from inception to resolution.
Deep understanding of Mexican civil procedure, commercial law, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with strong advocacy capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects effectively in a remote setting.
High degree of professionalism, integrity, and ability to handle sensitive information.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
