About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized intervention plans.

Provide individual and group counseling services, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches for addiction and mental health concerns.

Facilitate referrals to appropriate community resources, healthcare providers, and support networks.

Develop and implement community outreach programs to raise awareness and promote access to social services.

Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with organizational and legal standards.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals and educators, to ensure holistic client care.

Advocate for clients' rights and needs within various systems, including legal, healthcare, and social services.





Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of best practices in social work and addiction treatment.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in clinical social work, preferably with a focus on addiction or mental health.

Licensure or certification as a social worker in the relevant jurisdiction (e.g., Licenciatura en Trabajo Social).

Proficiency in conducting psychosocial assessments and developing treatment plans.

Strong knowledge of counseling theories and techniques, particularly those applicable to substance use disorders.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with local social services and community resources in the Monterrey area is a plus.

Proficiency in Spanish is essential; English language skills are advantageous.
