About the Role Our client, a global leader in digital transformation services, is seeking a highly experienced Abogado Senior - Derecho Contractual to join their fully remote legal team. This position will focus on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements for clients across various industries. The role requires a deep understanding of contract law, risk management, and the ability to provide strategic legal guidance remotely. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of complex commercial contracts, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), software licenses, and partnership agreements.
Provide expert legal advice on contractual terms, risks, and obligations to business stakeholders.
Develop and implement standardized contract templates and playbooks to improve efficiency.
Manage the contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance and effective record-keeping.
Conduct legal research and provide analysis on contract-related legal issues.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including sales, procurement, and engineering, in a remote setting.




Assist in developing negotiation strategies and provide guidance on complex deal structures.
Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments impacting contractual relationships.
Requirements Law degree (Licenciatura en Derecho) and licensed to practice law in Mexico.
Minimum of 10 years of extensive experience specializing in commercial contract law.
Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing complex, high-value agreements.
In-depth knowledge of contract principles, remedies, and risk mitigation strategies.
Exceptional drafting skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships remotely.
Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of managing a demanding workload independently.
Proficiency in English is mandatory for this role.
Experience in the technology or IT services sector is highly advantageous.
