About the Role
Our client is looking for a talented and innovative Experto en Desarrollo de Plataformas de E-learning to join their expanding educational technology division in Culiacán, Sinaloa . This role is central to the design, development, and maintenance of our cutting-edge online learning platforms. You will work with a team of developers, designers, and instructional specialists to create robust, scalable, and user-friendly e-learning solutions. The idóneo candidate possesses strong technical skills, a deep understanding of learning management systems (LMS), and a passion for creating engaging digital educational experiences. This position offers the chance to shape the technological backbone of our educational offerings in Culiacán, Sinaloa .

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement new features and functionalities for our e-learning platforms.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define platform requirements and technical specifications.

Develop and integrate custom modules and tools to enhance the learning experience.

Manage the deployment and maintenance of the LMS and other related educational technologies.

Ensure platform performance, scalability, security, and reliability.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the e-learning environment.

Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in e-learning development and edtech.

Create and maintain technical documentation for platform architecture and features.

Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback for platform improvements.





Optimize platform performance for speed and user experience across different devices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in web development, with a focus on e-learning platforms or Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Proficiency in programming languages such as PHP, Python, JavaScript, and associated frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Django, React, Angular).

Experience with database management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

Strong understanding of LMS architecture (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard) and standards like SCORM and xAPI.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.

Familiarity with UI/UX design principles for web applications.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment.

Must be legally authorized to work in Mexico.
