About the Role Our client, a well-established industrial group, is seeking a highly competent Ingeniero de Planta y Mantenimiento to oversee and enhance the operational efficiency and reliability of their facilities in Puebla, Puebla, MX . This role is essential for ensuring that all production machinery and plant infrastructure are maintained in optimal working condition, minimizing downtime and maximizing output. The adecuado candidate will have a robust background in mechanical or industrial engineering, coupled with significant experience in managing maintenance programs, predictive and preventive maintenance strategies, and facility operations. You will play a key role in improving operational continuity and safety within the plant environment, contributing directly to the company's productivity and profitability.
Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all plant equipment.
Oversee the planning and execution of corrective maintenance activities, ensuring rapid resolution of equipment failures.
Manage the maintenance team, including scheduling, performance evaluation, and training.
Develop and control the maintenance budget, optimizing costs while ensuring adequate resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards related to plant operations and maintenance.
Collaborate with production teams to minimize the impact of maintenance activities on production schedules.




Analyze maintenance data to identify recurring issues and implement root cause analysis for long-term solutions.
Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability and reduce lead times.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies or equipment upgrades to improve plant efficiency and reliability.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of plant operations and maintenance practices.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant engineering, maintenance management, or operations.
Proven experience in developing and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems commonly found in industrial settings.
Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Strong understanding of industrial safety regulations and practices.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Proficiency in Spanish is required; basic English knowledge is a plus.
